Solidarity Shabbat slated at synagogue

GLOVERSVILLE — The Knesseth Israel Synagogue, 34 E. Fulton St., will hold a public Solidarity Shabbat at 7 p.m. today in the aftermath of the shootings in Pittsburgh.

According to a news release, “it will be a time for all of us who can attend to pray together in solidarity with the members of our wider Jewish family in Pittsburgh, to remind ourselves that despite the terror and grief, we can still praise God and rejoice together on Shabbat.”

Additional parking this evening is available at the United Methodist Church, 31 E. Fulton St.
