Young professionals meeting planned

GLOVERSVILLE — The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Fulton Montgomery Young Professionals Network has scheduled a meet-up on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30.

Wally Hart and Andrew Dench will teach how to make Thanksgiving appetizers. The menu will be sweet potato rosti with onion marmalade and sour cream aioli garnished with chives, rose apple and brie pastry bites, butternut and truffle ricotta bruschetta garnished with sage.

The cost will be $10 if 20-plus people attend. If fewer than 20 people attend, it will be $20 per person. Money is to be paid at the door and RSVP’s are required.

RSVP can be made by contacting Sarah Hafter at the chamber at (518) 725-0641 or via email at [email protected]

The network is looking for business professionals in the 20-something to 40-something age range to connect and participate in this networking event. The mission of the group is to foster an environment for young professionals in the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce area to network, conduct community outreach programs, and to interact with community leaders.

Although the targeted age range for this group is 20-something to 40-something, the expertise, participation, and camaraderie of professionals of all ages is sought, welcomed and encouraged, according to a news release.
