AMSTERDAM — The city’s First Night Celebration will be held starting at noon on Dec. 31 and running until 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 1.
The event will feature a variety of entertainment, events, activities, and specials that businesses and organizations host in the city.
The evening will end with fireworks over the river at midnight at the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook pedestrian bridge.
Attendees can view a schedule of events and a map of all First Night activities online or at you can pick them up at any participating location one week prior to the event.
