CLMF showcase and brunch slated

GLOVERSVILLE — A Caroga Lake Music Festival showcase and brunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30.

The Caroga Lake Music Festival offers a series of performances and community outreach throughout the Adirondacks, Hudson Valley, New York City and beyond.

The musicians of the festival have quickly become well known throughout upstate New York for bringing outstanding musical artistry and diverse instruments to traditional stages as well as backyard and lakefront concerts, according to a news release.

Attracting audiences locally and nationwide, the CLMF is dedicated to increasing accessibility to chamber music, cultivating creative and interactive experiences, and showcasing some of the world’s top professional artists from the United States and abroad. The festival features unique multi-genre programming, from classical to contemporary music and small ensembles to orchestras.

The brunch menu will include quiche, stuffed French toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes, salad greens, refreshments and desserts.

Tickets for the event will cost $35 per adult and $15 for children younger 10, minus 20 percent for center members.
