JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Historical Society will be hosting the following event on June 15, at the Drumm House, 115 W. Green St., according to a news release.
∫ From noon to 3 p.m. will be children’s musket drill with members of the Third Tryon County Militia. Children of all ages are welcome and will be taught how to drill with the militia using wooden rifles and marching techniques. This is a free event. Donations will be accepted.
∫ The Drumm House will be open for tours and the gift shop will be open. Refreshments will be served.
This event is a New York State Path Through History weekend event.
