NORTHVILLE — The Sacandaga Valley Arts Network invites all players, pickers, singers, music lovers in the Sacandaga region to get together and make music. Everyone is welcome from newbies to experienced jammers. Come play blues, bluegrass, folk, country and rock.
The Jam will be held in Northville Waterfront Park on Tuesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon in conjunction with the village farmers’ market from July 2 until Labor Day. No Jam on July 6.
According to a news release, the jam will be very informal. If you’ve never jammed before — here’s your chance. We’re very friendly and helpful. Bring a song (or 3) to share or just bring yourself and your instrument(s). If you are a frequent jammer, join us too.
Listeners are always welcome, but we hope you’ll join in and sing along.
