JOHNSTOWN — In its continuing effort to raise money for athletics, the greater Johnstown School District announced Tuesday it has opened a GoFundMe page for Johnstown Athletics.
According to Johnstown Head Football Coach Tyler Hall, the link is: https://www.gofundme.com/f/gmvjqd-johnstown-athletics-save-our-sports.
Hall said $95,000 was raised last week during the 1,000 Citizens to Save Our Sports event in the Johnstown High School auditorium, which is “unbelievable.”
With the support of the district’s Purple and Gold Sports Booster Club and coaches, the Sir Bills and Lady Bills kicked up the fundraising campaign because fundraising is needed due to less available funding in the district’s 2019-20 budget.
