BALLSTON SPA — Kyle Maio of Brothers in Bees will speak at the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association meeting on June 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at 50 W. High St.
He will speak about his organization, which seeks to provide a reflective and rewarding experience for veterans through beekeeping and to spread awareness of the impact of honey bees on local communities and the world.
The Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association, located in eastern New York, promotes and supports the interests of beekeepers, both hobbyists and commercial, with educational and social activities. Counties served include Albany, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren, and Washington.
