Public meeting slated for July 25

FORT PLAIN — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will have a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. July 25 in the auditorium at the Fort Plain High School, 1 West St. (use the Clyde Street entrance), according to a news release.

The event will be hosted by Montgomery County Sheriff Jeffery T. Smith, Undersheriff Carl J. Rust, and members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. This will be an opportunity to hear updates on the sheriff’s office business — progress, a time for the public to ask questions, share concerns and provide feedback.
