GLOVERSVILLE — The following are classes with Melanie Fay, the instructor, at the Paul Nigra Creative Arts Center, 2736 Route 30, according to a news release
∫ From 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday a paint like the masters sunset class. The cost is $25.
Those attending will learn to paint a sunset and will be guided step by step to make their own painting.
∫ From 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 9, a draw like the masters pastel sketches class. The cost is $25.
The participants will learn to draw with pastels, way to draw with color. They blend and are a way to learn to plan paintings. That’s why masters like Monet used pastel to think through their ideas before painting.
