Interfaith Tea is slated for Tuesday

GLOVERSVILLE — The 71st Annual Interfaith Tea will be held at North Main Street United Methodist Church, 316 N. Main St., on Tuesday with registration starting at 11:15 a.m.

Following the tea there will be entertainment by the gospel group, the Remnants, according to a news release.

The first planning meeting was held recently at the church. The tea is free and will have a good will offering which will be given to the Glove City Coalition, a new organization that advocates against drugs in schools. The speakers will be Margaret Clark and Alyssa Craig from the coalition.
