MAYFIELD — The Rev. Bonnie Orth, Littauer’s pastoral care coordinator, facilitates two groups focusing on advocacy and education, with open discussion for sharing and support. The groups will meet Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church, 22 N. Main St., according to a news release.
∫ At 10:30 a.m. the Alzheimer’s Caregiver group meets and is for family members or friends who care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
∫ At 2 p.m. the Parkinson’s group meets and is for anyone with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological conditions and their caregivers. Attorney Glenn Witecki of the Witecki Law Firm in Schenectady will discuss legal issues with this group.
