Schedule for recovery center set

JOHNSTOWN — The following is the event schedule for the Rob Constantine Recovery Community and Outreach Center, 86 Briggs St., Suite 6; (518) 705-4626, according to a news release.

Each Monday:

∫ At 1 p.m. families first. An educational group for those with a loved one with a substance use disorder. Today’s topic — Family Roles; On March 16, topic — Self Care; On March 23, topic — Communication; On March 30, topic — Healthy Boundaries

∫ At 6 p.m. You’re in Recovery. Welcome all who are in recovery, are affected by addiction and/or support the recovery lifestyle. All pathways of recovery are embraced.

∫ Tuesday and March 24: At 6 p.m. gentle yoga postures. All are welcome. Free event.

Each Tuesday:

∫ At noon You’re in Recovery. Welcome all who are in recovery, are affected by addiction and/or support the recovery lifestyle. All pathways of recovery are embraced.

∫ At 6 p.m. men’s support group. A recovery group for men who are looking for ongoing support to remain alcohol and drug free.

Each Wednesday:

∫ At 6 p.m. family recovery group. A support group open to anyone with a family member, friend, or loved one who is in recovery or impacted by substance/alcohol use disorder.

∫ At 6 p.m. women’s creative connection. A group for women in recovery from addiction. All women are encouraged and welcome to attend for coffee, cookies, and creativity through all forms of artistic expression.

∫ Each Thursday: At 6 p.m. You’re in Recovery. Welcome all who are in recovery, are affected by addiction and/or support the recovery lifestyle. All pathways of recovery are embraced.

∫ March 19: At 2 p.m. Opioid Overdose Prevention (Narcan). How to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. The event includes the Narcan administration instructions and kit.

∫ Each Friday: At 6 p.m. will be You’re in Recovery in the RCRCOC Amsterdam location at St. Ann’s Church, 37 Division St., amsterdam. Welcome all who are in recovery, are affected by addiction and/or support the recovery lifestyle. All pathways of recovery are embraced.

∫ March 31: At 6 p.m. into the steps. What do you know about the 12 steps and what can you expect when you attend a 12-step meeting?
