GLOVERSVILLE — The Sisters of the Holy Spirit March meeting was called to order by President Markie King. There were 30 members who attended.
Theresa Prumo led in a decade of the rosary.
The officers who were installed at the Dec. 2019, meeting are as follows: King and Cindy Kruger-Farley, co-president; Patricia Franco, recording secretary; Ann Masala, treasurer; Jean LaPorta, financial secretary; Barbara Rieth, corresponding secretary.
∫ From 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday and March 20, will be the pizza sales.
∫ From 4 to 6:30 p.m. March 27, will be a fish dinner, sponsored by faith formation and SOHS
The applications for a student scholarship can be picked up at the parish office. The deadline to turn in applications is April 20.
On May 4, will be a card party, coordinated by Andrea Chittenden.
The SOHS is sponsoring a baby shower for Theresa’s Closet. Small items are wanted such as diapers, baby wipes, etc. Bring the items to the church or the SOHS April meeting.
Kruger-Farley noted the “simple” suppers were successful. There was a $410 profit with $150 going to the senior class for this year, all donated by the Farley family.
The 50-50 was won by Fran Mosconi and Martha Mongato.
The refreshment committee was King.
The next meeting will be April 6.
