Dog walk to benefit county’s K-9 unit

BROADALBIN — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 337 will have this year’s dog walk to benefit the Fulton County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit at 10 a.m. Oct 31. The registration will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 19 Pine St. Walk begins at noon.

Everyone is welcome. Anyone doesn’t have to have a dog to walk. Anyone who wants to bring their dog can dress their dog up (optional) and there will be a prize for the best dog costume.

This year’s K-9 walk is in honor of Ruthann Coons, for the years of dedicated service to the Fulton County K-9 Unit.
