JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County’s curbside recycling pick up will resume on Tuesday starting with the village of Broadalbin and town of Perth. The residents should follow their regular third week and fourth week schedule in February. In March, the regular twice-a-month curbside recycling pick up schedule will resume, according to a news release.
The singlestream recycling should be put loose into a covered bin, garbage can with a cover, Rubbermaid tote or similar container with a lid (to prevent loose items from blowing out).
A corrugated cardboard box, which can be closed to keep materials contained, can also be used.
Do not put recycling into plastic bags, (except shredded paper), and do not tape or tie recycling.
