National Guard members promoted

LATHAM — The following members of the New York Army National Guard were recently promoted in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership, according to a news release.

∫ Alivia Chase from Canajoharie, assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 501st Ordnance Battalion, the rank of specialist.

∫ David Colliton from Amsterdam, assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 101st Expeditionary Signal Battalion, the rank of sergeant major.

∫ Aidan Halloran from Gloversville, assigned to the 466th Area Support Medical Company, the rank of private first class.

∫ Nathan Labombard from Broadalbin, assigned to the Company B, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, the rank of corporal.

∫ Collin Peck from Johnstown, assigned to the Company C, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry, the rank of private.

∫ Christopher Town from Johnstown, assigned to the 827th Engineer Company, the rank of private.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
