Nick Stoner Seniors have pizza party

CAROGA LAKE — The Nick Stoner Senior Citizens Club recently had a pizza party for the seniors and town hall staff.

The meeting was called to order by President Marylou Paterson. A prayer was read and Our Father was said by all. The Pledge of Allegiance was said while standing and then Hello Neighbor took place.

The secretary’s report was read by Edna Bennett.

The treasurer’s was report given by Barbara MacFee.

Jean Griffin gave the hospitality report and the sunshine report was given by Marie Shoop. Shirley Holliday, the membership chair, mentioned that the dues still are coming.

Under old business, the driving was mentioned. Paterson asked how many have received their COVID shots. Most had received their first or second.

Under new business, the bingo tickets have been received.

There were 15 members and three guests in attendance. The meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.

The 50-50 raffle was won by Linda Gilbert and MacFee. The door prizes were as follows: Judy Aldinger, Paterson, Bennett, Gilbert, Grace Eglin and Herb Griffin.
