Johnstown schools to host voter registration

JOHNSTOWN — The Greater Johnstown School District will conduct school voter registration at The Knox Building, 400 South Perry Street, Johnstown, NY from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Registrants must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the school district for 30 days. Photo ID and proof of residency is required at the time of registration.

Registrants will be eligible to participate in Johnstown’s special school election on Aug. 25.

Residents who have an up-to-date active voter registration with the County Board of Elections do not need to complete a separate school district registration.
