Halloween Parade slated in Northville

NORTHVILLE — The Northville Central School Halloween Parade, featuring all elementary students in costume, will begin at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. The parade will start in the South parking lot and follow the traditional route: east on Center to Main, north on Main to Bridge, west on Bridge to Third and south on Third to the school’s main entrance.
In addition, Northville students will be participating in “Trick or Treat for UNICEF” in the week leading up to Halloween and during Trick-or-Treat night. This tradition of kids helping kids was started in the U.S. in 1950. Northville residents can watch for students with an orange coin box on Trick or Treat night to make a contribution. All donations go to UNICEF.
