GLOVERSVILLE – A Meet the Artists Reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery, 30 N. Main St., in Gloversville. The featured artist will be Cindy Sheeler, a painter, fiber artist, printmaker and jewelry designer. Sheeler taught art in Gloversville schools for 30 years. Since her retirement, she has found time to explore new media and create a wide variety of amazing artwork. The show, which runs through the end of April, also includes the artwork of all Micropolis artists. The gallery is open six days a week, Monday-Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, visit www.facebook.com//MicropolisGallery.
