Four face drug charges

GLOVERVILLE – After an extensive investigation into drug sales in the city, indictments handed up by Fulton County Judge Richard Giardino resulted in the arrests of two men while two more arrests are pending.

City police Monday charged Gary “Giz” Robinson, 26, currently incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, with two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Robinson was arraigned in Fulton County Court and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility. No bail was set.

Jarrod “Gee” Miles, 41, of 20 Bloomingdale Ave., was charged with two counts each of the same offenses Friday. Miles was arraigned in County Court and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility with no bail.

The two remaining indictments are for city resident Timothy Belden, 24, who is currently serving time at the Fulton County Correctional Facility, and former city resident Hassan “Bigz” Wilson, 23, who is currently incarcerated by the state Department of Corrections.

Belden was indicted on three counts of the same two charges, and Wilson was charged with one count of each offense.

The New York State Police Community Narcotics Investigation Team assisted the Gloversville Police Department with the investigation.
