JOHNSTOWN – A Gloversville man accused of murdering his wife in February pleaded not guilty in Fulton County Court on Tuesday.
The plea was made on behalf of Frank Ostrander, 70, of 35 Steele Ave., by his attorney, Gerard McAuliffe, on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Ostrander only spoke when asked if he wanted his attorney to speak on his behalf.
Ostrander was remanded without bail to the Fulton County Jail, where he has been since the Feb. 10 incident.
