MAYFIELD — The Mayfield Central School District has announced the deadline to file a petition to run for school board will be April 17.
Qualified school district residents must obtain the signatures of 30 qualified voters in the district to file a petition to run for the school board. Petition forms can be obtained in the Mayfield Central School District Office, located in the high school at 27 School Street.
One five-year term on the school board is available. The seat, presently occupied by Kevin Capobianco, will be vacant as of June 30.
The school board election will be held May 16 from noon to 8 p.m., with voting in the high school gym lobby.
