The water of the Mohawk River rushes by pylons in this Wednesday photo. With water levels already high, and more rain on the way, officials are urging people use caution around swift, flowing streams, creeks and rivers, as well as flooded roadways. Six inches of swift, running water can knock a person off their feet, according to Steve Santa Maria, Fulton County Civil Defense and Fire

coordinator.
