NORTHVILLE — After observing a national day of thanks with family and friends, the businesses in the village of Northville are open for the bustle of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday holiday shopping.
According to a news release, the village of Northville is the season’s premiere location to experience the contentment of independent, small business shopping. Northville’s quaint Main Street is dotted with local businesses offering services, shopping and dining all within walking distance. Off main-street businesses and galleries are still an attainable walk within the historically rich, Adirondack foothill village on the Great Sacandaga Lake.
“Our local businesses are the building blocks of our village that strengthen our local economy,” said Northville Village Mayor, John Spaeth. “Northville’s businesses add so much to our unique village character, as well as give back to our community in a multitude of ways.”
Village-wide, Northville merchants and business owners plan to have their shops, salons, galleries, eateries and stores open and ready for business. Many special events are planned throughout the village businesses.
You will find something for everyone, enjoy fine fare, make great friends and receive the personal attention you need shopping in Northville. You may even pick up your fresh-cut holiday tree and find all the fine trimmings.
Remember to buy it where you can try it, shop small and shop local this holiday season.
