JOHNSTOWN — A New York City man is facing a number of new charges in relation to an alleged August kidnapping incident in the city of Gloversville according to Fulton County District Attorney Chad Brown’s office.
According to a press release from Brown’s office, Delaney E. Akins, 27, of 260 W. 131st St. Manhattan was indicted on the following charges by a Fulton County grand jury: kidnapping in the first degree, a felony; assault in the first degree, a violent felony; assault in the first degree, a violent felony; assault in the second degree, a violent felony; and aggravated sexual abuse in the third degree, a violent felony.
According to a news release from Brown’s office, Akins was arraigned before Judge Polly A. Hoye with his court appointed attorney, Kyle Davis, and remanded to the Fulton County Correctional Facility with no bail.
