In support

PHOTOGRAPHER:
Faculty and staff at Kinsgborough Elementary School in Gloversville wore blue T-shirts on Tuesday to show their support for second-grade student Madison Scott who was undergoing surgery for Blount’s disease at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts. Students and staff gathered in the gym to take a photo to send to Scott to let her know they were thinking of her. Blount’s disease is a growth disorder that can cause uneven leg lengths or legs to bow outwards, possibly leading to hip dislocations and joint pain. (The Leader-Herald/Ashley Onyon)
