JOHNSTOWN — City police arrested four Gloversville residents on criminal mischief and drug charges following an incident Sunday night at the Holiday Inn.
Officers said the incident occurred at about 5:40 p.m. at the 308 N. Comrie Ave. hotel.
Police said Tessa Neecole Taylor, 24, of 44 Burr St., Gloversville, was charged with one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Police said Makayla C. Taylor, 24, of the same address, was charged with one misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police said Carl G. Watkins Jr., 31, of the same address, was charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police said Cody A. Beagle, 19, of 32 W. Eighth Ave., Gloversville, was charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The Patrol Division responded to two persons arguing in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn. During the course of an interview, it was learned Tessa Neecole Taylor allegedly damaged a vehicle window by punching it, police said. Following this incident, police said Johnstown officers were asked to accompany management to a room to escort multiple people out of the building. While doing so, officers were made aware of the alleged presence of narcotics in the hotel room, police said.
As a result, Makayla Taylor, Watkins and Beagle were also arrested.
The Taylors were released to appear later in City Court.
Watkins and Beagle were arraigned and held to appear later in City Court.
