JOHNSTOWN — Two Gloversville defendants pleaded guilty recently in separate Fulton County Court cases and are each headed to jail for a year.
Joshua Dedicke, 39, of West Street, pleaded guilty Aug. 5 before County Court Judge Polly A. Hoye to third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, as part of a plea arrangement.
Sentencing was adjourned until a later date, but Dedicke is expected to receive one year in the Fulton County Correctional Facility. An order of protection will also be issued for his victim.
Dedicke was arrested June 6, but details of his case were uavailable.
In another case, James Barksdale, 33, of Third Avenue, pleaded guilty Aug. 7 before Hoye to first-degree criminal contempt, as part of a plea arrangement.
Sentencing was adjourned until a later date, but he is scheduled to receive one year in the Fulton County Correctional Facility. An order of protection is also expected to be issued and restitution, if any, will also have to be paid.
Barksdale was arrested June 8, but details of his case weren’t available.
