Troopers: Mayfield man stole vehicle off property; Faces grand larceny count

A Mayfield man was arrested Friday, accused of stealing a vehicle off a property in the town, state police said.

Ryan M. Rorick, 25, of Mayfield, was charged Friday with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, troopers said.

He is accused of taking a 2007 Chevy Malibu from a property in the town by towing it from the property, state police said. The investigation began with the initial report June 29.

The vehicle did not belong to him and he did not have the owner’s permission to take the vehicle, troopers said.

He was taken into custody at his residence, processed and released to appear in court later.
