Investigators found he stole a trailer with two Sea-Doo personal watercraft from a town of Amsterdam business, then, days later, returned to an adjacent business to steal the minibikes, officials said.

In taking the mini bikes, Buczkowski cut a security cable. An employee confronted him, but he fled before deputies arrived, officials said.

Investigators soon tracked down the trailer and watercraft, officials said. The minibikes have yet to be found, officials said Tuesday.

Buczkowski was arraigned and ordered held on $15,000 bail.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Amsterdam Police Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, officials said.
