GLOVERSVILLE – A Gloversville man has been arrested, accused of threatening a shooting at an Orlando, Fla., business, police said.

Alexander Joseph, 35, was arrested last week and charged with one count of making a terroristic threat, a felony, police said.
Joseph is accused of threatening to shoot an employee at the Orlando-based American Safety Council and making the threat on a recorded phone line Aug. 6, according to police allegations filed in court.
“Even after being advised he was on a recorded phone line he stated, ‘If I have to fly down there one of you are going to get shot,'” the police allegations in court read.
He also allegedly continued, saying “You really think I’m playing I’m a crazy mother (expletive),” the allegations read.
The threats caused fear at the company, the allegations read.
The charging paperwork does not indicate why Joseph was allegedly speaking with the company. The company describes itself on its website as “the leading source for online driver education, workplace safety training, continuing education, online business and security solutions.”
