State police began investigating Stevens after receiving allegations that led to the charges. Troopers got a search warrant for his home and found him in possession of a 9mm handgun. Stevens does not have a pistol permit, state police said.
Investigators also determined he had provided a 14-year-old with edible marijuana products, state police said.
Stevens was processed, arraigned and released to return to court later, state police said.
