FULTON COUNTY – The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is warning of attempts to pass fake movie $100 bills at local businesses.
The warnings come after the office has received complaints of attempts to pass the bills, officials said.
“The money looks real if not paying attention,” officials wrote on Facebook Monday.
Officials posted images of the front and back of a fake $100 bill.

While the main aspects of the bill mirrors an actual $100 bill, both the front and the back carried the words “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY. The front also has the words “THIS IS NOT A LEGAL TENDER” and “COPY.” The back also has the words “IN COPY BILL WE TRUST.”
Anyone who receives such a bill or has someone attempt to use such a bill should contact the Sheriff’s Office ta 518-736-2100.
