Northern Fulton County is to be under a Winter Storm Warning beginning at 1 a.m. Thursday.
The service attributed the snowfall to a slow moving cold front and low pressure system.
Travel could be very difficult in the watch area and the conditions could impact Friday morning’s commute, the service said. Snowfall rates could approach an inch an hour Thursday night into Friday morning.
The warning area was expected to see very difficult to impossible travel, with hazardous conditions expected to impact the morning and evening commute.
