Troopers: Oppenheim man charged in medical office threat


OPPENHEIM An Oppenheim man is accused of threatening to kill staff at a medical office, state police said.

Charles Talbert, 57, of Oppenheim, was arrested July 1 and charged with one count of making a terroristic threat, a felony, state police said.

Talbert is accused of making the threat by phone to the medical office that day, troopers said.

Talbert was processed and released to appear in court later. A temporary extreme risk protection order was also issued in the case, state police said.
