A Johnstown man was charged by state police for having a fake inspection sticker.

State police out of Fonda arrested Brandon M. Mcrae, 30, at 3:37 a.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on Townsend Road in Johnstown for an equipment violation. Police said during that stop they noticed that Mcrae’s inspection sticker was fake. Mcrae has been charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.
