CANAJOHARIE — A Canajoharie man has been arrested, accused of predatory sexual assault against a child, Montgomery County Sheriff’s officials said.

The investigation began in late November with a report that Stoltzfus may have subjected a child known to him and under the age of 11 to sexual contact over the course of years, officials said.
Stoltzfus was arraigned and ordered held without bail.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by county District Attorney Lorraine Diamond and her office, as well as the county Department of Social Services.
