Man stole restaurant employee’s cell phone from work station, Fulton County Sheriff says

FULTON COUNTY – A man stole a restaurant employee’s cell phone from the employee’s work station, Fulton County Sheriff’s officials said Friday.

Eric J. Papula, 22, city of residence unavailable, was charged Friday with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, officials said.

Papula is accused of taking the employee’s cell phone at a local restaurant while the employee was working, officials said. Papula was not an employee of the restaurant, officials said. A release Friday did not describe the incident further.

Papula was already incarcerated at the time of his arrest related to a separate incident, officials said. He was returned to the Fulton County Jail to await a court date.
