Four charged in Gloversville Thursday drug raid; Face drug, weapons counts, police say

GLOVERSVILLE – Four people were charged in Thursday’s mid-day drug raid on East Pine Street, police said Monday.

Police last week indicated members of the Glove Cities Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at about noon Thursday at 32 E. Pine St. in Gloversville and detained eight people for investigation.

The raid came as part of an ongoing investigation into drug sales from that address, police said.

Charged in connection with the raid were:

Jordan R. Spraker, 20, of Gloversville. He faces charges of criminal possession of a firearm, third-degree and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of criminal possession of a narcotic rug with intent to sell and two counts of criminal sale of a narcotic drug, police said.

Alexander R. Passino, 23, of Gloversville, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, criminal sale of a narcotic drug seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence, police said.

Mikala A. Danforth-Thompson, 29, of Gloversville, charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell and criminal sale of a narcotic drug.

Kaine A. Madera, 18, of Halfmoon, charged with two counts of criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, and second-degree criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
