Fultonville man charged in child pornography case, troopers say

FULTONVILLE – A Fultonville man has been arrested, accused of possessing and promoting child pornography, New York State Police said.

Shadrach L. Geisler, 45, was charged Wednesday with promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child, felonies.

Geisler is accused of possessing and promoting images consistent with child sexual exploitation, police said. 

He was arrested after an investigation and execution of a search warrant at his home Wednesday morning, police said.

The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, police said.

Geisler was arraigned and ordered held on $20,000 bail.
