GLOVERSVILLE – Gloversville Police Friday morning investigated a threatening comment made on a school bus and found it not to be credible, police said.

The call came in at about 9 a.m. to Smith Street for a report of a juvenile passenger on a school bus who had made a threatening comment, police said.

“Members of the City of Gloversville Police Department, including the School Resource Officer, and the New York State Police, responded to the scene,” police wrote in a release. “The threat was quickly determined not to be credible.”

The juvenile was taken from the scene and turned over to a parent. The remaining students then were able to continue to school, police said.
