OF NOTE – The Capital Region’s music scene is perpetually busy, especially in the summertime.
Whether it’s a stadium show at MVP Arena, an outdoor concert at SPAC or an intimate show at Caffe Lena, there’s always a band to see.

Here are a few shows coming up that are among our best bets.

Friday
Gov’t Mule heads to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center tonight as part of its “Dark Side of the Mule” tour.
The southern rock jam band first came together nearly two decades ago as a side project of the Allman Brothers Band by guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody. The show starts at 8 p.m. For more information visit livenation.com.

Saturday

Sunday
Matchbox Twenty will finally be making its way to SPAC tonight after having to reschedule twice because of the pandemic.

Matchbox will be joined by Matt Nathanson. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. For more information visit livenation.com.

Harbor Jam continues tonight, this time spotlighting Elton John with Philadelphia Freedom – A Tribute to Elton John.
