SCHENECTADY – The legendary Bob Dylan is set to play Proctors in October, the musician announced Monday.
Dylan announced is set to appear at Proctors Oct. 30, according to BobDylan.com.
Tickets for the show are set to go on sale this Friday, according to the site.
“Bob Dylan’s career has lasted the better part of fifty years now. He has never gotten by on sentimentality or nostalgia. He has never repeated his successes. Dylan has always pushed his work ahead,” the show synopsis reads on Proctors’ site.
The stop is part of Dylan and his band’s ongoing Rough and Rowdy Ways tour. Also announced Monday, a stop in Rochester at Auditorium Theatre on Oct. 24.
Dylan’s appearance is set to come just over five weeks before the musical “Girl From the North Country” spends a week at Proctors. The musical features Dylan’s songs. “Girl From the North Country” is set to play Proctors Dec. 5 to Dec. 10.
