GLOVERSVILLE – One person was ticketed following a two-vehicle accident involving a septic truck in the city on Jan. 29 according to city police.
Officers said Matthew D. Morris of Gloversville was driving a 2011 Volkswagen sedan, registered to Shawn J. Levesque of Gloversville, south on Fremont Street at the intersection with Washington Street.
Police said Morris failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a septic truck, reigstered to Adiorndack Septic, driven by Daniel R. Zielinski of Perth.
Police issued Morris tickets for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield. Police said no injuries were reported.
