Forged inspection sticker alleged

AMSTERDAM — Yaritza Colliton, 43, of 423 Route 161, Amsterdam, was arrested by the Montgomery County sheriff’s and charged with having an unregistered motor vehicle and a forged inspection sticker.

Deputies said Colliton was arrested for displaying a forged certificate of inspection and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a traffic stop in the town of Amsterdam.

Colliton was processed and released on traffic tickets returnable to Town Court on April 20 at 6 p.m.

Man charged with unlicensed operation

AMSTERDAM — Michael R. Mundell, 22, of 230 Emigh Road, Rock City Falls, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on March 22 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Deputies said Mundell was seen operating a motor vehicle on Route 5S in the town of Amsterdam. After a traffic stop, deputies said a department of motor vehicle check showed Mundell’s registration had been suspended and his driver’s license had been suspended a total of three times.

Mundell was arrested and issued appearance tickets to appear in Town Court.

Traffic stop leads to marijuana charge

AMSTERDAM — Ricky A. Hemstreet, 18, of 107 County Highway 148, Johnstown, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on March 22 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies said Hemstreet was arrested following a traffic stop during which Hemstreet was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Hemstreet was arrested and issued appearance tickets for Town Court.

Failure to appear results in arrest

GLEN — Andrew S. Bandos, 30, of 26 Summit Ave., was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Sunday and charged with a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Deputies said Bandos was arrested on an active bench warrant out of Town Court.

Bandos was arraigned and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond. He is set to reappear in Town Court.

Disturbance leads to marijuana charges

PALATINE BRIDGE — Duane A. Larochelle, 57, of 6034 Route 5, Palatine Bridge, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s office deputies Sunday and charged with harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies said they were called to 6034 Route 5 in Palatine Bridge for a report of a disorderly male striking a female at approximately 12:30 a.m. Deputies said when they arrived on the scene they were able to hear an altercation and were able to stop it. Deputies said they discovered marijuana in Larochelle’s possession when they interviewed him.

Larochelle was issued appearance tickets returnable to Palatine Town Court.

Forged inspection sticker alleged

PALATINE BRIDGE — Arnold R. Johnson II, 32, of 430 Indian Trail Road, Fort Plain, was arrested by the Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies and charged with having a forged inspection sticker and an expired inspection.

Deputies said Johnson was seen driving a vehicle on Lafayette Street in the Village of Palatine Bridge with an invalid inspection.

Johnson was arrested and issued appearance tickets returnable to Town Court.
