Alleged speeding leads to more charges

NORTHAMPTON — Patrick H. Colson Jr., 31, of 116 High Rock Road, Northville, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 6:55 a.m. March 27 with speed in zone, unlicensed operator and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator.

Deputies said he was charged following a vehicle stop on Route 30 in the town.

Deputies said Colon allegedly was speeding in a 45 mph zone and without a driver’s license. He was also found to have had his driving privileges taken away on numerous dates for failing to pay fines and answer summons in different courts in the past, deputies said.

The suspect was arraigned in Town Court and released to reappear later.

Former employee creates scene, charged

AMSTERDAM — Joseph R. Suitto, 26, of 237 Grand St., Amsterdam, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Friday and charged with disorderly conduct.

Deputies said they received a call about a man acting disorderly at the Walmart in the town of Amsterdam. Upon arrival, deputies said they learned Suitto has been terminated from his employment and was being escorted from the property when he became disorderly. Deputies said Suitto was charged based on the complainants’ statement.

Suitto was processed at the scene with an appearance ticket for April 11 at 6 p.m. in Town Court.

Traffic stop leads to unlicensed charge

AMSTERDAM — Kristi L. Lyons, 34, 68 Grove St., Amsterdam, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s office Saturday and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Deputies said Lyons was stopped for a traffic violation and a license check revealed a suspended driver’s license.

Lyons was issued an appearance ticket for Town Court April 18 at 6 p.m.

Man charged with unlicensed operation

AMSTERDAM — William D. Hayes IV, 31, of 72 W. Main St., Broadalbin, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Sunday and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

Deputies said Hayes was stopped for a traffic violation and it was determined that his driver’s license had been suspended.

Hayes was issued a ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town Court on April 11.

Traffic stop leads to unlicensed charge

MOHAWK — Adam R. Klein, 27, of 35 Franklin St. Apartment 3, of Fultonville, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s office deputies Sunday and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Deputies said Klein was stopped on Bridge Street in Fonda and it was determined he had a suspended driver’s license.

Klein was issued a ticket to appear in Mohawk Town Court at 5 p.m. April 26.
