Leaving the scene of an accident charged

JOHNSTOWN — John C. Berry, 52, of 828 Bunker Hill Road, Mayfield, was charged by city police at 7:47 p.m. May 30 with leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unsafe backing.

Police said he was charged on Route 29 in connection with offense at 8:06 p.m. May 21 on Washington Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Traffic stop leads to drunk driving charges

JOHNSTOWN — Korie L. Wessels, 31, of 31 West St., Apartment 2, Gloversville, was charged by city police at 2:39 a.m. June 3 with an equipment violation (rear license plate light), driving while intoxicated, and driving with 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol content.

Police said the motorist was charged on West State Street.

The suspect will appear later in City Court.

Felony DWI charged June 3

JOHNSTOWN — Dennis D. Myers, 39, of 11 Prospect Lace, Apartment 2, Gloversville, was charged by city police at 10:13 p.m. June 3 with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and felony driving while intoxicated.

Police said he was charged on Briggs Street.

Myers was held for arraignment in City Court.

Woman arrested on city bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Natalie L. Williams, 30, of 149 Prospect Ave. (up), Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 8:13 a.m. June 5 on a bench warrant.

Police said she was charged on a warrant issued by City Court.

She was held for arraignment in that court.

Two charged with taking, cashing check

JOHNSTOWN — Two people were charged by city police at 8:45 p.m. June 5 with fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police said Randy S. Robb, 31, and Michele M. Mustico, 31, both of 7 Knox Ave. were charged. Police said the pair were charged at 4:43 p.m. May 1 at 142 N. Comrie Ave. Police said Robb and Mustico allegedly took a $1,060 check from a victim and cashed it.

Woman arrested on bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Nancy J. Baker, 57, of 73 Prospect Ave., Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 10:10 a.m. June 6 on a warrant.

Police said she was charged on a warrant out of City Court.

She was held for arraignment in that court.

Man charged with damaging two cars

JOHNSTOWN — Thomas C. Cole Jr., 23, of 2 W. 10th Ave., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 6 p.m. June 6 with third-degree criminal mischief.

Police said he was charged at 2:50 a.m. June 6 in the vicinity of 5 N. Perry St.

Police said Cole allegedly intentionally damaged two parked cars.

He was released in lieu of $500 cash bail to reappear later in City Court.

Man charged with choking victim

JOHNSTOWN — Benjamin A. Alling, 26, of 305 W. Main St., was charged by city police at 11:35 p.m. June 8 with second-degree harassment, third-degree obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, endangering the welfare of a child, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

Police said he was charged at his residence after officers responded to a family offense at 9:30 p.m. June 8.

Alling was held for arraignment in City Court.
