Woman arrested on out-of-county warrant
JOHNSTOWN — Jennifer R. Grassel, 35, of 2465 Route 8, Lake Pleasant, was arrested by city police at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant.
Police said she was charged on Opportunity Drive on a warrant from Hamilton County.
The suspect was turned over to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.
Resident charged with being disorderly
JOHNSTOWN — Steven D. Starson, 58, of 326 W. Clinton St., was charged by city police at 8:05 p.m. Thursday with disorderly conduct.
Police said he was charged at home, accused of yelling and swearing and disturbing neighbors.
He will appear later in City Court.
Traffic stop leads to several charges
JOHNSTOWN —Dianna G. Brenn, 50, of 4293 Route 30, Amsterdam, was charged by city police at 3:52 a.m. Thursday with uninspected motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Police said he was charged on Fisher Avenue.
He will appear later in City Court.
Teen allegedly steals $117 in items
AMSTERDAM — Sarra Brake, 16, of 44 Dexter Road, Corrina, Maine, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday with petit larceny.
Deputies said she was apprehended by loss prevention at 6:30 p.m. Kohl’s in the town after she allegedly shoplifted merchandise totaling $117.
She will appear at 6 p.m. Thursday in Town Court.
Cell phone use leads to accident
GLOVERSVILLE — One person was ticketed following a two-vehicle accident in the city on June 10, according to city police.
Officers said Danielle M. Stevens, 35, of Hudson Falls was driving a 2003 Chrysler sedan, registered to Majorie Whited of Porter Corners, west on Third Street near the intersection of Woodside Avenue when she looked down at her cell phone and sideswiped a parked 2014 Nissan sedan registered to Donald P. Person of Gloversville and a 2014 Chrysler sedan registered to David H. Sweet Jr. of Gloversville.
Stevens was ticketed for use of a mobile phone while operating a motor vehicle.

AMSTERDAM — Asia M. Saglimbeni, 24, of Schenectady, was charged by New York state police with petit larceny on June 15.
Man charged with pot possession
JOHNSTOWN — On June 10 at 6:45 p.m., Stephen J. Royal, 27, of Johnstown was charged by New York state police with unlawful possession of marijuana.

MOHAWK — Derek Kedharoo, 36, of Schenectady, was charged by New York state police on June 11 at 1:25 p.m. with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Traffic stop leads to several charges
AMSTERDAM — Kayshawn N. Brooks, 23, of Schenectady, was charged by New York state police on June 15 at 10:17 a.m. with false personation, aggravated unlicensed operation and two traffic violations — no seat belt and having a cracked windshield. Brooks was released on bail.
